Italian Marble Dining Tables
- The first dining tables of which survivors remain are the type known as refectory tables. They are made usually of oak, and one of the earliest, at Penshurst Place in Kent, has a typical thick top of joined planks supported on three separate trestles.

His Favorite Marble
We had the marbles out for a game. I grabbed the camera when I saw our cat was sitting and holding this one. I did nothing to enhance this photo. The marble just seems to light up so that must be why he likes this one.
